St. Matthew’s Church Pentrich has been undergoing extensive refurbishment to the internal plasterwork and has been closed for services and visitors for reasons of safety.
We are happy to report that St. Matthew’s will be open again for worship on Sunday 4th August for a service with baptism at 9.30 am. Also on 4th August we will have our “Sacred Space” time of quiet reflection at 6pm.
For the remainder of July our Pentrich congregation will continue to be welcomed at St. Andrew’s, and our shared service on 24th August is by way of celebrating the re-opening of our ancient church.
